RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTFerry Island, Tottenham Hale MEP Design
Ferry Island is a large residential development consisting of 490 units across two buildings with a large shared basement. The scheme also includes multiple retail units, large amenity areas, cinemas, and restaurants.
Loop Engineering were appointed to provide Stage 4a detailed design for the full development. Extensive coordination was undertaken within the basement to incorporate a significant increase in ductwork and fire insulation to bring the design in line with the latest fire regulations.
To minimise high level coordination and provide diverse routing, most of the electrical containment was distributed below ground in cast-in ducts and trenches. The full design was completed in Revit 3D with particular focus of clash detection and construction buildability
