RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTTustin Estate Masterplan and Phase 1, Southwark MEP Design
Tustin Estate is a residential development owned by the London Borough of Southwark, which is currently undergoing a regeneration to optimise the number of dwellings in the space and provide more sustainable and efficient homes for the future. The regeneration project consists of 690 dwellings over 14 blocks and a school, of which Phase 1 consists of 170 dwellings over 4 blocks including the refurbishment of 18 existing homes.
Loop Engineering were appointed to provide Stage 2 and planning information for the full masterplan scheme, and up to Stage 5 construction design for Phase 1.
The development has been designed to utilise the local district heating network, SELCHP, for the multi-story blocks, and efficient air source heat pumps for the town houses. The full scheme has been modelled in Revit 3D, including all apartment services, landlord’s distribution, and the below ground services.
