RESIDENTIAL & RETAIL DEVELOPMENTBrent Cross Town Plot 15
To mitigate the use of refrigerant, a global warming contributor, the apartments have been designed to not include active comfort cooling. We developed an in-depth overheating risk analysis to ensure the apartments would remain comfortable throughout the year and into the future. Within the analysis we included passive cooling design proposal.
Heating is provided from the district heating system. Heating and hot water to the apartments is provided by HIUs. Detailed acoustic and overheating studies were undertaken to mitigate the effects of noise whilst limiting overheating.
We have used Revit 2020 to produce a comprehensive services model that eases and speeds up the installation on site bringing tangible benefits to the contractors and consequently, to the developer.
