Loop Engineering have undertaken the phased restack of this 9 storey office block in Central London for Lloyds Banking Group. Works entailed electrical upgrade works, lighting enhancements, mechanical system upgrades and reconfigurations.
Complete strip-out and refurbishment of two large office floors for this prestigious client. Works entail the complete replacement of the M&E infrastructure to these floors Works include full replacement of ventilation systems; cooling systems; new electrical infrastructure, Fire alarms, Lighting and Lighting Controls.
Works included the conversion of a basement carpark into offices and workshops for the BBC. Loop Engineering undertook the full MEP detailed design. Coordination with the existing systems and infrastructure was critical with the space constraints. New life safety ventilation and ductwork systems were installed through a live facility.
Loop Engineering were appointed to produce the mechanical design for the refurbishment of office, laboratory and auditorium space. Originally built in 1985 on the National Physical Laboratory’s Teddington campus, Building 84 is home to a number of labs and open plan office space spread across 3 floors. This refurbishment replaced the 80’s mechanical services with new energy efficient services such as new mechanical ventilation with heat recovery units.
Loop Engineering undertook the detailed MEP designs for the Cat B fitout for two floors of 70 Wilson Street for the Microsoft Accelerator project. Works included enhancing the basebuild ventilation, cooling systems and introducing new underfloor power and data systems. CO2 sensing and VAV boxes were introduced to maximise the limited fresh air capacity and move it areas in use.
